[Fairegrounds, Near Some Booths]
A series of hastily constructed wooden shacks lean at all angles, supported only by their proximity to each other. Before them, a barker cries out to passers-by, trying to tempt them into playing his game. You also see a gaudily clothed barker and a sign.
Obvious paths: southwest.

A sign reads:
~ ~ ~ Three Frog Monte, 500 lirums a try (give money to barker) ~ ~ ~

The barker is a short, pudgy man that resembles his pet frogs. The fact that he's wearing a bright green robe splotched with mud helps not in the least with that impression. He also seems to have a horrible case of warts. A sign beside him reads, "Three Frog Monte, 500 lirums. Give money to barker to play."

Taffei asks the barker about the frogs.

The gaudily clothed barker says, "All I know is that if ya gimme 500 lirums, I let ya kiss one o' me frogs fer a chance at a prize."

Taffei asks, "I don't know if I want chance gettin any warts.  Did you try this?"

[Fairegrounds Clearing]
Near the brook a small clearing opens to the sky. The fragrance of damp clover and wild mint mingles with a cornucopia of faire smells drifting through the air. Shrieks of delight, barking merchants, and the sounds of laughing children travel the distance from the hayfield and speak of some child's mischief or glee. You also see a blue silk pavilion, a bright blue canvas tent painted with colorful lollipops, a pastel flowered tent, and a splattered canvas tent.
Obvious paths: northeast, west.

[Fairegrounds Clearing]
A gentle upslope leads from a stream-side willow grove to a rolling meadowland. The beaten-down grass is strewn with hay, improving traction on the slippery, slanted path. A cacophony of voices and smells accompany the sound of crunching hay beneath the feet of the revelers. You also see the whittler Roakin, a colorful arch-roofed wagon, a gold and blue striped tent, a brightly painted merchant's caravan, and a tall sun-yellow tent.
Obvious paths: north, east, south.

Taffei says,  "We've already seen these merchants, too.  But, if you want to go into any of them again.... Click Here

Taffei exclaims,  "I'm going North to see what else is here!"
