Back to the Map[A Shaded Willow Copse]
A copse of willow trees in this grassy vale provides shelter from the weather
for the weary traveler. Bubbling over smoothly polished rocks, a brook creates a
rhythmic rhapsody which harmonizes with the tranquil surroundings. A boulder
with a concave center looks like a nice place to sit alongside the brook. You
also see the whittler Roakin, an azure painted wagon with a silk green banner, a
massive oak caravan with a green-and-white striped awning, and a rough oak
wagon.
Obvious paths: north, east, southwest.
Roakin is a middle-aged Human with thick blond hair tied with a narrow strip of leather into a ponytail. He is wearing a dark moss green cloak, leather breeches dyed with a tooled leaf pattern, and a simple white shirt. He is rugged, and has a twinkle in his green eyes when he smiles at you.
Roakin says, "I make these carvings to show just how beautiful something can be, if you take the time to look for it. The Roakin says, "ASK me about my LIST to see what I'm selling."
Roakin smiles at you and says, "My birds come in a variety and
my finest work. Take a look at what I'm selling." He opens his satchel and pulls
out a list to show you.

The interior of the wagon is surprisingly spacious, with enough room at the
center for a large silverwillow carving of a regal lion. Eerie green light
emanates from wall sconces in each corner of the room, bright enough to
illuminate the items on the table or stand beneath them. There is a red door
leading outside.

A braided rag carpet dyed a rich verdant green covers much of the dusty plank
floor and lush flowering swags haphazardly climb the knotty pine walls, lending
the cramped interior a heady floral motif. Several birch tables and a carved
sandalwood rack are clustered opposite a whitewashed sideboard positioned within
easy reach of a cushioned wicker sofa. A tall bamboo screen separates one corner
from the rest of the caravan. You also see a dark leather appointment book with
"Finara" written at the top in hunter green ink, a parchment scroll with "Anvaya"
written at the top in sky blue ink, a torn parchment sign tacked to the
doorframe, a wide shelf with some stuff on it, a round door, and a narrow
ladder.

A sales clerk moves from customer to customer within the roughly hewn oak wagon,
while another works to replenish the stock displayed on various mannequins.
Silver-painted wooden blades hang against crudely tanned furs upon the
splintered walls, and a brass spittoon squats silently in one corner near the
exit. You also see a black mannequin with some stuff on it, a brown mannequin
