[Fairegrounds Path]
The path slopes gently downward from the west toward a shady vale. Willow trees
cluster to shade the lower grounds, but one large specimen stands out alone at
the border of the meadow, providing cool relief and quiet. You also see a tacky
yurt, a mottled tent, a crude hide tent, and a dark blue tent with flapping
pennants.
Obvious paths: northeast, west.
[Tacky Tack]
Hay is strewn all across the dirt floor in this small yurt, enclosed by walls of
every color imaginable. A hook hangs from the center post, while a stand and a
rack have been placed on either side. You also see an exit flap.

[Packrat's Paradise, Sales Floor]
Containers literally surround you in this tent, as used and battered ones have
been sewn together to make a crude patched shelter in which to sell goods.
Several lanterns of different makes hang on drawstrings from various bags on the
ceiling. The warm light from the lanterns reveals shabby decor around the room,
and mostly secondhand fixtures. The items for sale resting on the furniture,
however, are far from second rate. You also see a driftwood crate, a crooked
table with some stuff on it, a discard box, a tarnished brass-edged trunk with
some stuff on it, a wide counter with some stuff on it, a rickety rack with some
stuff on it, and a patched leather flap.

The patched leather walls made from various containers are continued here from
the sales floor, though due to clever construction, the sound from the sales
floor is reduced to a subtle murmur. An eccentric collection of various places
to sit rest conveniently around a center table heaped with all kinds of food.
You also see a patched leather chair, a woven mat made from scraps of canvas, a
torn canvas curtain, and a crooked alteration rules board.

Grass withers underfoot, killed by a combination of forge-heat and smoke. The
atmosphere in the tent is musty and stifling despite the two hide walls that
have been raised to let in air. A waist-high stand holds an array of spears and
pole-arms, while tables and counters display other assorted weapons. You also

[Gadelica's Riches for the Reverent]
This spacious tent is decorated simply, but with attention to details. A thick
carpet with intricate knotted tassels covers the ground and muffles the sounds
from the fairgrounds outside. The displays are neatly organized on furniture as
exquisitely made as the wares themselves. Nothing is extravagant, but the
careful craftsmanship reflects the richness of the spirit that made each item.
You also see a ladder-back chair with a deeply-cowled monk's robe on it, a dark
blue curtain, a silver tray with some stuff on it, and a group of clothes hooks
with some stuff on it.
Obvious exits: south.

Custom wedding cups can be made for clerics to use in their ceremonies, or for
couples as a wedding item.

and a Please-Read note |
||
A Please-Read note :
These items are available to the public, however, they may be of
special interest to clerics. Any may enjoy the devotions written, once you
unroll them, but the cleric may share aloud these words, by invoking the prayer.
The prayers are from a variety of sources, to a variety of the gods, and were
the first in a series. Since the illustrator has retired, no new parchments are
available at this time. It is my hope that in the future more may be created,
but these are the last of my old stock.
Feathered parchment -- contains a Prayer Before Facing the Undead.
Dark prayer parchment -- contains a Soul Leading Prayer (appropriate at
funerals).
Ivory prayer parchment -- contains a prayer to Hodierna.
Simple prayer parchment -- contains a Prayer for Life and Death.
Heavy prayer parchment -- contains a prayer to Everild, Kuniyo, and Trothfang.
Illuminated parchment -- contains a Cleric's prayer to the All-God.
Silvery prayer parchment -- contains the prayer Goddess of Life, We Beseech You.
Pure-white prayer parchment -- contains a prayer of protection from Asketi.
Crushed vellum parchment -- contains a prayer to Urrem'tier.
Mottled parchment -- contains a short prayer to Alamhif.
Gilt pale-green parchment -- contains a prayer to Truffenyi.

And on the rack nearby is a richly illuminated parchment which contains two very
short prayers, one for morning, one for evening.
Please gently tap the parchment on the shelves before you buy, to be sure you
are purchasing the one you want.
