[Fairegrounds Clearing]

clearing. Sounds of a large crowd murmuring in awe drifts from inside. You also
see a sagging wagon, a wooden gazebo, a white silk tent, and a lavish flamewood
caravan.
Obvious paths: east.
[Auction Tent, Inside]

around the poles, giving the impression of festivity. Benches line the interior
of the tent, and the central area remains open, enabling the auctioneer to

sullen Shadow Servant, an auctioneer's podium, a tent flap, a creamy white
ricepaper door, and a large auctioneer's display table.

[Ithinnu's Clothier and Cobbler, Special Selections]
This cluttered wagon offers precious little floor space in which to stand. Along
the back wall is a cutting table presided over by an intent Elothean perched on
a step stool. Seated on a chest in a corner, a wizened Dwarf hammers a sole on
his lap iron. A small sign tacked over an ash stand proclaims the proprietor's
name and business. You also see a note tacked below the sign, an oak sideboard
with some stuff on it, a door, a wooden tray, a small dresser, a hickory trunk
with some stuff on it, and a wobbly rack with some stuff on it.

Taffei points to a lavish flamewood caravan.
Taffei says, "I never saw that opened. Maybe this is where the gypsy lass took her naps? Or mayhaps the whittler Roakin? Mayhaps they took turns in the caravan? Mayhaps that is where they kept supplies?"
Taffei gets a worried look on her face.
Taffei says, "What if they were spies, sent to spy on the new Baron? We should keep a sharp eye out for that caravan."
Taffei nods emphatically.
Taffei says, "I never did get to see the new Baron. We must have been shopping in different tents."
A guard taps you on the shoulder and says, "Time to leave, I'm afraid." He escorts you to the edge of the field, shielding you from the confusion as merchants work to dismantle their tents and throngs of festival-goers stream toward the exits in a laughing, chattering crowd.
Taffei's group just went through the bracken arch.
